Non-surgical face lifting
For skin that has started to lose firmness, definition or support. Two different approaches to facial lifting, each designed to address different concerns. PDO threads provide mechanical support, while HIFU uses focused ultrasound to stimulate collagen and improve skin firmness over time. Your treatment plan is tailored to your facial anatomy, skin condition and desired results.
Personalised lifting. Natural-looking results.
Two ways to lift, and how to choose
PDO threads
PDO threads are designed to provide mechanical support and a lifting effect in suitable patients. As the threads gradually dissolve, they can also stimulate collagen production.
They may be suitable for selected cases of mild to moderate skin laxity. Results vary depending on the treatment area, technique and individual factors.
A consultation is required to assess suitability before treatment. Thread treatments cannot be booked directly.
HIFU facial
HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy to target selected tissue depths beneath the skin, encouraging collagen remodelling and gradual improvements in firmness.
Results develop over time, typically over several weeks to months. Suitability depends on your skin condition, anatomy and treatment goals. It is a non-invasive approach to firmer-looking skin, without needles.
Your consultation will help determine which treatment, if either, is appropriate for you.

Treatment suitability is assessed individually during consultation.
Questions
Threads or ultrasound, which is right for me?
PDO threads help lift and reposition sagging tissue, while HIFU uses focused ultrasound to support skin tightening and collagen production. The best option depends on your facial structure, skin and goals.
Is a thread lift the same as a facelift?
No. PDO threads offer a non-surgical lifting effect, while a surgical facelift involves a different procedure and can achieve more significant changes. Threads may be suitable for patients seeking a more subtle lift.
How long until I see HIFU results?
Results develop gradually over 2 to 3 months as collagen production increases. Improvements vary depending on the treatment area and individual response.
Is there any downtime?
HIFU usually involves minimal downtime, while PDO threads may cause temporary swelling, bruising or tenderness. You’ll receive personalised aftercare advice following your treatment.
